Saturday the 30th the Little Fireface Team was in the throes of more than 3200 people who attended the WOMAD festival at Bristol Zoo, and at least 500 of those stopped at our table. Not only did they have the chance to name Tereh’s baby, but a few hundred got their face painted like a loris, painted a glow-in-the-dark loris or doucy mask, simply coloured a lovely Southeast Asian primate, bought one of our furry adorable hand-made loris bags, and most importantly we gained more than 70 new signatures in support of our attempts to end the illegal wildlife trade.
We also have been made an official partner of WAZA – the World Association of Zoological Parks and Aquaria, working with the many zoos who are striving to promote conservation.
Join us at WOMAD this Saturday 30th June (see post below) for a chance to name Tereh’s baby and many other loris activities! Or if you want to enter online, you can purchase one of our loris calendars here and complete the form below (or just type the information required into the email) and send it to us at email@example.com. The competition will close on the 2nd of June at 5pm.
