One of the most important thing in conservation is socialisation, awareness and education with the local people. Today we gave out stickers, calendars and information leaflets explaining our project and giving information about the slow lorises to the villagers who own and work in the fields where the lorises live. This is highly appreciated by the people – as you can see in their happy faces!
