The village located at Mount Papandayan issues regional regulations governing wildlife conservation and protection efforts. Among them regulate the environmental preservation and prohibition of hunting wild species. Littering is also prohibited, this is done in an effort to protect the ecosystem and biodiversity in the village of Cipaganti. In addition, this village regulation also regulates the preservation of forests and trees that serve as habitat and sources of wildlife food. Including reducing the chemicals in community farming activities, especially for coffee farmers in the village area.

The making of this regulation is based on the results of deliberations by community leaders and local government officials. This is due to seeing the environmental conditions that still have hunting for animals. Usually, they hunt various types of birds, mongoose, deer, bobcat etc. The hunters are not only local residents but also come from various areas outside the village of Cipaganti, and this hunting activity can threaten the preservation of animals and should not be allowed.

The animals that protected by the village regulations, for example, slow loris, mongoose, various species of birds and bobcat. This is a good step forward to encourage public awareness to protect wildlife. I hope this village regulation can give great benefits for everyone, not only for today but for the future of our children and grandchildren. The aim is to ensure the preservation of wild animals and their habitats around the Cipaganti village.

The drafting of this village regulation was accompanied and approved by various government elements such as the agriculture service, the forestry service, the BPDASHL-Citanduy Cimanuk, BKSDA and the Little Fireface Project as foreign private institutions that actively protect the preservation of wildlife. This regulation was passed not only as a requirement for obtaining certification from the coffee program but also as a concrete effort to protect and protect the biodiversity in the village area of Cipaganti Cisurupan Garut West Java, Indonesia.
